Dr. Michael Riskevich
Dr. Michael Riskevich is Diplomat of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment.
He completed his college education at St. – Petersburg Medical Academy in Russia and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM) in New York, graduating with honors, and then attended Family Practice Residency at Peninsula General Hospital, New York.
Dr. Riskevich has been in private practice since 1999, specializing in Pain Management, Family Medicine, Osteopathic Manipulation Treatment and Medical Acupuncture.
Dr. Michael Riskevich has published articles on a variety of pain management topics, presents and teaches courses regularly at regional, national, and international osteopathic conferences, and was honored to have been chosen as a Assistant Professor, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He is extremely active in many national osteopathic and medical organizations, and is particularly proud to have served both his specialty of Pain Management and Family Medicine. His additional organizational activities include certification by or membership in:
AOA – American Osteopathic Association
ACOFP – American College of Osteopathic Family Physician- Board Certified
AAOM – American Association of Orthopedic Medicine
While Dr. Riskevich performs the majority of his treatment at the private practice, he also holds hospital privileges and practices at: New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System Well Medical College of Cornell University.
